Setup

For 5X to access your dbt account you will need to create a service token.

Step One - Create a Service Token

1. Make sure you are enrolled in Team or Enterprise plan. Developer plan does not support service token creation.

2. Go to Account Settings -> Service Tokens

3. Click "+ New Token", enter Token Name, click “+” and select "Account Admin" for Permission Set.

4. Save your token somewhere safe to be used later.

Step Two- Enter details on 5X

Account ID

Go to Account Settings. You will find the account id in the URl. e.g. 173365

Service Token

This is the Service Token that was generated.

Step Three -Validate details on 5X

Once you have entered the details, click on validate. We will check the dbt credentials before adding the account to 5X account.
