Accessing 5X Managed dbt Core™

Pre-requisite

• Admin must enable user’s 5X Managed dbt Core™ permission to the required workspace.

• The user should have an activated 5X Managed dbt Core™ account to access it. Refer to Activate vendor account to learn more.

Accessing 5X Managed dbt Core™

Navigate to 5X Managed dbt Core™ from 5X Operate.

If you have connected to a data warehouse during the 5X Managed dbt Core™ vendor setup, a default dbt project is set up with your warehouse connection. You must set up the dbt Git repository by clicking Setup Repository to open the Project Settings tab.

Note

5X creates a dbt_user to connect to your warehouse, which has read-only access to your development database, and write access for development and production databases on the default dbt project.
